Sipping For The Culture

Just the name itself, this collection is such a vibe. 

I’ve had the pleasure of sipping the Red Blend, the Riesling, and the Rose’, and unequivocally, the Red Blend is my favorite, and I order it religiously. I was so surprised and pleased when I saw these sips locally in Fry’s, Total Wine, and BevMo.  

This was such a great way to kickstart my journey into supporting Black-owned sips! 

Here’s a brief highlight of how each tastes. 

Riesling: Boasts tropical flavors and definitely has an underwhelming sweetness. It is a perfect brunch sip. 

Rose’: Sparkling Rose’ is my favorite, but the flat give is serious competition.

Red Blend: With its succulent and peppery/spicy finish. I almost didn’t want to share. Have you tried the McBride Sisters Collection: Black Girl Magic? Share your thoughts on your favorites and any others I should try.

I’m deeply committed to supporting Black-owned beverage brands. With this mission, I discovered the McBride Sisters She Can Dry Rose’ spritzers and the Black Girl Magic wine collection. 

The She Can Dry Rose’ spritzers are amazingly refreshing, offering several soft notes. The variety pack includes two flavors: Island Citrus and Coastal Berry. Surprisingly, these Dry Rose’ Spritzers have become my favorite.

As a social enterprise the McBride Sisters lead the SHE CAN FUND foundation, which provides scholarships to help Black-women owned businesses in the wine & spirits, hospitality, and finance industries. This is a cause I can support with every sip. Not only will I continue to purchase this wine because of its essence, but I love the idea of sips supporting women who look like me.
